Caprock is a family of individuals who have put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for eternal salvation. If you have never made the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, it is the most important decision you can ever make, and we would be thrilled to talk to you about it and personally explain what the Bible says about how you can know for sure you are on your way to Heaven when this life is over. Our Sunday small groups meet every Sunday at 10:00 am. These small group classes are settings where you are invited to meet people, and hear a Bible lesson directly applicable to your life-stage. The best way to get to know people at Caprock Baptist Church is to visit one of these Small Groups.
Your first visit to Caprock Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. You will experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and at home!
You can become a member of Caprock Baptist Church through one of three ways:
The Bible instructs every person who has accepted Christ as their personal Saviour to be baptized. It is a public testimony of your faith. When a person is baptized at Caprock Baptist, they are added to the membership of Caprock Baptist Church.
If you have already accepted Christ and have been baptized in a Baptist church whose doctrine is in agreement with Caprock Baptist Church, you may present your testimony of salvation and be voted into membership by your statement of faith or transfer of membership from another Baptist church. You may do this by stepping forward and speaking with the pastor during the invitation in any church service.
If you have accepted Christ and have not been baptized in a Baptist church of like faith, to become a member, you will be asked to publicly identify with Christ and with Caprock Baptist Church by being baptized into our membership. Caprock Baptist Church is committed to maintaining a doctrinal unity in this day of confusion and doctrinal compromise.
Once a person has joined we invite them to attend a new members class. This class is held periodically throughout the year and is an opportunity to get to know our pastor while gaining a deeper understanding of our Core Values. Someone will contact you when this class becomes available.
We desire all of our members to experience the blessing of serving our great community. There are always opportunities to getting involved in outreach, reaching in, and helping hands ministries.
